Dr. Rene J Trasorras, MBA, CPP, BAI

Dr. Trasorras is the President and Founder of the Tampa Consulting Group. The Tampa Consulting Group concentrates on assisting businesses improve process in Innovation and Strategy, Marketing, Sales and Management. Dr. Trasorras has been published both domestically and internationally on the topic of developing value.

Dr. Trasorras has assisted companies in the following sectors: technology, resort and leisure, construction and development and many more.

Dr. Trasorras has a diverse background and is a former U.S. Secret Service Agent and is also the President and founder of the Tampa Investigative Group which handles Investigations, Background Screenings, Security Consults and Competitive Intelligence and Security consultation assignments.

Dr. Trasorras earned his Doctorate in Business and Marketing at the Wayne Huizenga School of Business and Entrepreneurship at Nova Southeastern University, an MBA with honors from the University of Phoenix and a BA from the University of South Florida in Criminal Justice. Dr. Trasorras is also a Master Practitioner in Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP).

William Iler, Jr., MS, CFE

William B. Iler, Jr., was previously the corporate security manager of TECO Energy where he managed security, criminal and internal investigations, as well as all physical security for the company in the U.S. and Central America. He served for 20 years with the Tampa Police Department, where he was a supervisor, worked vice control, organized crime, and developed and supervised the first street anti – crime and surveillance unit. He is also a retired Lieutenant Commander of the U. S. Naval reserve and served in Intelligence and Security and was appointed as an Anti-Terrorism training officer.

William earned a Master of Science degree in Criminal Justice from Rollins College, a Bachelor of Arts in Social & Behavioral Science from the University of South Florida, and an Associates degree in Police Science from Hillsborough Junior College. Mr. Iler has attended and completed many hours of training in physical security and anti-terrorism courses throughout his varied and comprehensive careers. He has also conducted numerous physical security reviews for the U.S. Government, Private Corporations, and Schools systems.

Dr. Art Weinstein

Art Weinstein, Ph.D., is a South Florida-based research and strategic associate of the Tampa Consulting Group. He is Chair and Professor of Marketing at the Huizenga Business School at Nova Southeastern University, Fort Lauderdale, Florida (USA). 

An internationally known scholar on B2B market segmentation and customer value, Dr. Weinstein has authored 7 books and more than 75 scholarly papers and trade articles in his areas of expertise. His passion for publishing is equaled by his passion for assisting his clients solve real-world marketing problems, create successful business models and provide new strategic insights and directions.

Dr. Weinstein specializes in providing practical strategic solutions, grounded in relevant theory, in complex business situations. Art has assisted some of the leading companies in the world —such as Bayer Diagnostics, Bristol-Myers Squibb Canada, Citrix Systems, Hewlett- Packard, Intel and Motorola — with their market segmentation, customer value and strategic initiatives.  Customer behavior, market forces and research drive his recommendations.

Candace Rotolo

Storyteller and strategist, Candace Rotolo specializes in media relations and training, PR, content creation, and marketing. Candace has placed clients in media outlets such as the Associated Press, CBS News and Forbes.com, in addition to a host of other local, regional and trade outlets.  A former journalist who spent nearly 20 years working in television and print as a news anchor, reporter, producer and magazine editor, Candace offers her clients a unique perspective on what the media wants and needs. She continues to freelance with outlets such as the Tampa Bay Times.  Candace has worked for a Tampa-based public relations firm, and has also served as the PR director & spokesperson for a non-profit mental health agency. Candace is a graduate of Elon University, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass Communications with a concentration in broadcast journalism. She is a co-founder of the Elon University Tampa Bay Alumni Club, and a member of the Junior League of Tampa. Candace is also an advisory board member for Naples, Florida-based K is for Kids Foundation.
